STEP-BD has concluded its primary treatment studies and long term follow-up of persons with bipolar disorder, with a final enrollment of 4,361 participants across 19 clinical centers and associated Community Partners. The goal of the STEP-BD project is to improve treatment of bipolar mood disorder by determining the effectiveness of available treatment and to provide answers to many other important questions confronting the field. STEP-BD investigators are actively conducting data analyses, asking important questions of both the naturalistic follow-up pathway and the randomized trials embedded within the project. A partial listing of the findings to date can be found at [link back to Publications and Presentations page].
